Commission on the Status of Women (CSW59)

At the United Nations in New York, From 9 to 20 March 2015

          On this special occasion of Woman’s Day, a team of representatives, came from the Canadian Rockies, Brazil and the United States to participate in the largest social gathering for the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) which united NGOs from around the world and government delegations, to share reports, from the Beijing agreements 20 years ago, achievements, issues, challenges and improvement projects related to the status of women. This year, the number of non-governmental organizations has reached a record. More than 1,100 NGOs, with over 9,000 representatives will tour the headquarters of the UN and attend numerous conferences and events throughout the next two weeks.Our ToBeParent’s team and I.D.E.A.L. Society will present a radio show and two events on 11 and 12 March 2015, to share its work in the field of perinatal care. It will speak in particular of the Convention on the importance of life around birth, signed last September in India, in the Spiti Valley and the construction of a Birth Charter around birth, based on scientific research of the last twenty years .
